Writing workshop for LGBTQ Teens

Writing Workshop for LGBTQ Teens!
I am offering a FREE class for LGBTQ teens and teen friends of the LGBTQ community. We all need an outlet, and creative writing is a great way to help deal with life issues and problems. In a safe and supportive environment, you will be able to explore your chosen genre, whether it be journaling, writing a memoir, poetry, fiction, or even a play! Honing your writing skills will also help you as you navigate high school or college classes.
This class is for teens aged 13-17, and will meet twice a week for four weeks; Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 3-5, starting Tuesday August 6th. If everyone is agreeable, we can hold one class per week online, via Skype, since transportation may be an issue.
Class size will be limited to ten participants, and will be held at Mount Peter in Warwick, NY. Please email me at amy.sampson-cutler@goddard.edu, or call 845-629-6782.
“And by the way, everything in life is writable about if you have the outgoing guts to do it, and the imagination to improvise. The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.” -Sylvia Plath
